Library

The library has added several notable books to the adult section.  Some of the titles that are included are:

The Problem of Pain, Mere Christianity, The Four Loves and four other titles.  The New Yorker magazine says about Lewis, “If wit and wisdom, style and scholarship are requisites to passage through the pearly gates, Mr. Lewis will be among heaven’s angels”.  Jan Karon, popular author of The Mitford Years series, writes “Where will the Christian thinker by without C. S. Lewis”. 

Now available in our church library are three books by N. T. Wright.  He is one of the world’s top biblical scholars and has taught New Testament studies at Cambridge, Oxford and McGill University for twenty years.  Wright’s clear style and high readability make his books accessible for all readers.  One of his books, Surprised by Hope, promises to excite all who are interested in the meaning of life, not oly after death, but before it.
